For over a decade, I have dedicated my career to teaching, with a particular passion for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) education and supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Throughout my years in the classroom, I developed a deep understanding of how young learners engage best and how important it is to have resources that are both purposeful and visually engaging.
 

Over time, I became increasingly frustrated with a challenge familiar to many educators: spending countless hours searching for suitable teaching materials, only to find resources that were either low quality, overpriced, or simply not designed with real classrooms in mind. I also experienced first-hand how time-consuming it can be to create high-quality worksheets that are both effective for learning and appealing to children.
 

This led to the creation of Little Ladybugs—a platform designed to provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality teaching resources that save teachers valuable time and reduce stress. Every resource is created using real classroom experience, with a focus on clarity, engagement, and adaptability for a wide range of learners, particularly those within EYFS and SEN settings.
 

The name Little Ladybugs holds a very special meaning for me.
 

When I was pregnant with both of my children, I noticed ladybirds everywhere. Before then, I had never seen so many in my life. They seemed to appear wherever I went, and I came to see them as little signs of luck, hope, and protection.

My first pregnancy took place during the COVID pandemic, a time filled with uncertainty and challenges. Through it all, those tiny ladybirds felt like reassuring reminders that everything would be okay.
 

A few years after my first child was born, I was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. Thankfully, I was incredibly fortunate, but I was told that having another child might not be possible. It was a difficult period, and I had to come to terms with the possibility that my family might already be complete.
 

Then came an amazing surprise—I discovered I was pregnant again. I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Almost immediately, the ladybirds began appearing once more, just as they had during my first pregnancy. It felt as though they were reminding me that miracles can happen when we least expect them.
 

Ladybirds are often seen as symbols of good luck, blessings, positive change, love, and wishes coming true. For me, they represent resilience, hope, and the precious gift of my children. That is why I chose the name Little Ladybugs—a name inspired by love, gratitude, and the belief that small things can make a big difference.
 

Alongside my professional experience, I am also a mum to two young children under the age of five. Becoming a parent has deepened my commitment to early learning even further. I want my own children—and every child—to develop a genuine love of learning through positive, engaging, and meaningful educational experiences.
 

Ultimately, Little Ladybugs exists to support teachers and parents alike, making it easier to find purposeful, high-quality learning materials without the usual cost, frustration, or wasted time.

My goal is simple: to help children thrive, while making life a little easier for the adults who support them every day.
